Welcome to the Royal Caledonian Schools Trust

The Trust was established in 1815. Almost two hundred years later the work continues with grants towards full-time education and training in support of the welfare and education of the children of current and former Scottish Service personnel.

We help with educational grants for school clothing, school trips, school fees and help with living expenses for those in further or higher education.

Our founders set no age limit so the Trust can also help with those who need a second educational chance.

The Trust also sponsors projects that benefit groups or qualifying students, and awards scholarships to help those who decide to use a gap year to help less fortunate communities.
